The National Movement, Inc. Announces 1st Annual Hip Hop Economic Social Conference

Orlando, FL, May 24, 2005: The National Movement Association, Inc. (TNMA) will hold their 1st Annual Hip Hop Economic Social Conference on January 5-7, 2006 in Atlanta, GA. TNMA expects this conference to be an enormous success, as several hip hop celebrities and respected visionaries will communicate the importance of establishing a sound financial future to a cross section of 18 to 40 year olds in the hip hop community.

The focus of the conference is to provide guidance on important social and economic elements not readily available within the targeted audiences communities. There are a lot of new and exciting workshops planned which will continue the dedication the Association has made to the hip hop community. Some of the workshops include entrepreneurship, economics and banking, life insurance, purchasing stocks, political education, and the art of music. The topics selected are to empower the participants to improve their quality of life.

The Movement Central Florida was founded in 2004 by Bridget M. Norvell and the Late Dawn M. Blackstock-Flemming. The first goal was to educate and mobilize the local community and restore voter confidence, throughout the State of Florida, during the 2004 Presidential Election. It was during this mobilization effort that a greater need for the hip hop community was realized. To that extent, the organization was expanded by adding a national chapter serving under the name of The National Movement Association, Inc. (TNMA). The vision of TNMA is to break the cycle of apathy now plaguing the hip hop generation by using the traditional values established by the Civil Rights Movement.
