WAV Magazine Goes Nutz

The ridiculous success of their first newsstand issue featuring The Mars Volta, Prefuse 73, Mark Farina, Sage Francis, Mike Patton, and so much more, has led to a major international distribution deal...meaning all bookstores and newsstands everywhere (yes, Borders, Barnes&Nobles, and Chapters included)! Join WAVs World...they're going nutz in there (in a damn good way!)

(PRWEB) May 10, 2005 -- 18 months ago, it was nothing more than an idea. Now, itz 4 issues deep into a world of ridiculously positive reception, selling out across the States and Canada. WAV looks at this success as playing testament to their firm belief in the existence of a reinvigorated youth and future. A conscious crowd looking for tools to take us into a much needed progressively positive direction in all ways affecting all our lives...

music art politics culture.

Originally a 48 page newsprint zine with a glossy cover, WAV has morphed comfortably into a full 64 page glossy color magazine. With WAV Magazine Summer 2005 slated for a street date of July 6, and the new distribution deals putting WAV on all major newsstands and in all major bookstores across North America, things are about to get interesting.

Past issues have included Michael Franti, Ozomatli, Saul Williams, DJ Dan, Jurassic 5's DJ NuMark, Congressman Henry Waxman, environmental news and exposes, and so much more.

Check out the Spring Issue, which includes The Mars Volta, Prefuse 73, Mark Farina, Sage Francis, Mike Patton, and so much more (if you're lucky enough to still find any) and look forward to the Summer Issue, because finally...there's something worth looking forward to: hope.
