"I see up-and-coming artists paying hundreds of dollars every day for mixtape placement, just for a 'chance to be heard. For the price of a full tank of gas, some of the top execs in the game will sit down and really listen to what you have to say, guaranteed. I wish there were opportunities like this when I was coming up." comment issued by K-CINO, CEO of SSC Records.

The contest submissions will begin on June 30th at 7:00 AM EST and end August 12, 2005 at 11:59 PM EST. There is a $35 submission fee per track. Full contest guidelines and details can be found at http://www.playtionics.com/thaawakeningcontest.html.
