On August 27, 2005, at 8:00 pm, two giants of Latin Music will unite to show the best of their talents for a unique experience at Madison Square Garden. Colombian sensation Carlos Vives and Gasolina's hit reggaeton artist Daddy Yankee will showcase their explosive and fabulous talent for the first time ever. An amazing experience never to be missed!

Carlos Vives has always represented his land of talent with an amazing voice, the best hits of vallenato and pop music in his native Colombia and worldwide. With huge hits like "La Gota Fria" and "Dejame Entrar", this multiplatinum artist has trascendented frontiers with his innovative approach to vallenato, making him the biggest star in his Colombian homeland and Latin America.

Having won several grammys, his records like "Tengo Fe", "Dejame Entrar", "La Tierra del Olvido", "El Amor de mi Tierra" and his latest release "Rock de mi Pueblo" exemplify excellence with tremendous rhythms that have become classics for all Latinos and music lovers worldwide. Recently he held a concert at Parque Metropolitano Simon Bolivar in Bogota where 80,000 fans celebrated Vives's passion for music.

But not only has vallenato incorporated urban rhythms to delight young and adult audiences, the hot new genre reggaeton will provide an exciting mix of both with the presence of the famous and hottest reggaeton star of the moment Daddy Yankee.

After 15 years in the music industry in Puerto Rico, the last years have represented a bombastic experience for Daddy Yankee, born in Santurce and who goes by the real name of Raymond Ayala. His album Barrio Fino has sold thousands of copies and the hit sensations "Gasolina" and "Lo que paso paso" are now in the top 10 charts of the playlist from South America, the United States to Japan and Europe.

After his highly acclaimed performance at Premios Lo Nuestro and Latin Billboards 2005 alongside P. Diddy, 'Gasolina' creator will never run out of gas and keep on surprising us with his new record in the making, "El Cartel" and his new film "Talento del Barrio".
