EMINEM'S SHADE 45 ON SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO CELEBRATES ITS FIRST ANNIVERSARY

I can't believe that Shade 45 has been on the air for a whole year,
cursing until our hearts content and playing our favorite music. What
a fucking accomplishment. Now everybody get back to work.
-Eminem

NEW YORK October 26, 2005 SIRIUS Satellite Radio celebrates the
first anniversary of its Shade 45 channel on Thursday, October 27.
Shade
45 is the totally uncut, uncensored, commercial-free hip-hop channel
that is produced by recording artist Eminem. The channel launched in
October 2004 with a live concert broadcast from Eminems Shady National
Convention in New York City.

Eminem will be on Shade 45 throughout the next several days to talk
about the channels success over the past year, his forthcoming
greatest
hits album, Curtain Call, and other new projects in development. Hear
Eminem with host Lil Shawn on Thursday, October 27 from 12 pm to 12:30
pm ET, and again during The All Out Show with co-hosts Rude Jude and
Lord Sear from 4 pm to 8 pm ET. Eminem can also be heard on Shade 45
with morning show co-hosts Cipha Sounds and Angela Yee on Friday,
October 28 from 8 am to 12 pm ET, and on Saturday, October 29 from 2 pm
to 4 pm ET during G Unit Radio with host Whoo Kid.

This past year, Shade 45 consistently presented exclusive broadcasts
hosted by the most credible DJs in hip-hop, and set a new standard in
hip-hop radio for supporting emerging and established artists.

Lohan, Ludacris, Jessica Alba, Kanye West, Tommy Lee and others.

50 Cent personally world-premiered his multi-platinum album The
Massacre on Shade 45.

headlined by Eminem and 50 Cent.

Shade 45 was also the first radio outlet in America to provide national

Em and I were, of course, blown away be the opportunity to have a

to sound like, what it was going to be about and just started
building
it from scratch. -Eminem manager Paul Rosenberg

* Following its October 2004 launch, Shade 45 announced a lineup of
hosts that included hip-hop personalities known from radio and
television (Rude Jude, Cipha Sounds, Lord Sear), a trusted friend
of Eminem (Lil Shawn), and hot mix shows by DJ Clinton Sparks and
Atlantas Aphiliates. For the holidays, Eminem then contributed
his special holiday flava, A Very Shady Christmas, exclusively on
Shade 45.

* In February 2005, 50 Cent joined Shade 45 as the architect of
