Radio Going Crazy Over DJ Don Cannon's Go Crazy: Young Jeezy Track Heating Up Nationwide

ATLANTA, GA (October 6, 2005)-- DJ Don Cannon, one sixth of the Philadelphia bred, Atlanta based deejay collective known as The Aphilliates, is gaining national recognition as an up and coming producer on the rise. His production work on the single, 'Go Crazy', from the highly acclaimed debut album from Young Jeezy entitled, Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101, is creating a buzz on the streets and radio. The remix track is a hidden surprise for the consumers, as it features none other than the legendary lyricist and current Def Jam Records President: Jay-Z.

Go Crazy is getting love across the board, with increasing airplay from DC to Illinois to California. From Jeezys perspective, this song doesnt sound like any other song on his album, says Cannon, Its well-rounded and universal. Its an anthem for him. Cannon has also made mention that additional versions of the song may feature appearances from artists such as: Juelz Santana, Fat Joe, and Jadakiss.

With a focus on longevity, the DJ has constructed a full-service production company, Cannon Music, and has produced tracks for some of Hip Hops notable acts such as: Phillys Most Wanted, Jermaine Dupri, and Bow Wow. Cannon is currently being sought after from well known acts and developing his own artists, including three new rap acts: -Willie the Kid, Detroit Red, and The Replacementz.

In addition to his production work, Don Cannon is currently completing working on an upcoming Gangsta Grillz mixtape will fellow crewmember, DJ Drama. Cannons top mixtape, The King Series, has catapulted his career and has led to national recognition. He was voted Seagrams DJ of the Year in 2003, worked parties for the 2003 Super Bowl and Essence Magazines Yard Parties College Tour, and has made appearances on MTVs Spring Bling and The Ricki Lake Show. But he is not one to forget where the love comes from, therefore he continues to spread the Cannon brand across Atlanta by DJ_ing the hottest parties and doing live remotes with radio stations like 97.1 Jamz and Hot 107.9.

Cannon and The Aphilliates crew now have their own radio show on Sirius Satellite Radio called Aphilliates Radio Streetz Iz Watchin, which began in September 2004 on Eminems Shade 45 station. In addition, he can also be heard on Gangsta Grillz Radio airing on Radio Ones Hot 107.9 every Saturday night from 8-10 p.m. He is the official tour DJ for BME recording artist Lil Scrappy. Additionally, Cannon has also been featured on BETs Rap City.
