Rap Artist Delivers Powerful Message
In todays society, the inner city youth is being plagued with drugs, violence and lack of education. While most rappers use lyrics that glamorize this negative lifestyle, Shot Out is using his talent to deliver this message: If you work hard enough, you can overcome any obstacle in life.
Jacksonville, FL (PRWEB) December 19, 2005 -- A new kind of rap artist is emerging from Jacksonville, Florida, home of the Jacksonville Jaguars and the NFL Super Bowl 39. In todays society, the inner city youth is being plagued with drugs, violence and lack of education. This attitude is gaining him huge recognition in the entertainment industry. Shot Out has received two nominations for the 2006 Annual Southern Entertainment Awards: one for Best Performer of the Year and the other for his highly creative website, www.ShotOut.net. His song Beep Beep Beep is climbing the Billboard Charts and his new album, Florida Star, promises to reach the same success upon its release in 2006.
Aside from being a musician, Shot Out is also VP of Marketing and Promotions for Bungi Entertainment, an up and coming record label in Jacksonville. The label is currently involved in community outreach with their exclusive Stop the Violence Use Your Talents campaign.
