Clear Channel Radio Station and Independent Reality TV Show Tape Unauthorized Concert.

WinYourOwnTVshow.com Presents: The Cipher Show, gets caught in the middle of a Copyright Infringement situation when asked to tape a Clear Channel Radio Station's event.

New York, NY -- (ArriveNet - Jul 01, 2005) A Music Director and an employee of 105.5 The Beat Jamz, A Southwest Florida Clear Channel Radio Station, allegedly authorized an unauthorized taping of a concert event featuring Platinum Rap Star Mike Jones, hip-hop and rap artists The YoungBloodz, Cuban Link, Tone Loc and many others.

According to inside sources, they invited and verbally authorized The Reality TV Show, "WinYourOwnTVshow.com Presents: The Cipher Show" to film the event. The Music Director for 105.5 The Beat Jamz was the person in charge of this concert event. After the concert was filmed and edited, 105.5 The Beat Jamz Management realized they did not have proper clearance from record labels, management or the artists, to tape the event. However, by the time this was realized it had already been broadcast on the internet. As a result, the entire taping of this event became a huge violation of copyright and trademark infringement.

Crowd participants were also filmed, without proper consent. The Cipher Show was caught in the middle of this situation when they were verbally assured all clearance had been taken care of in advance.

A 105.5 The Beat Jamz/Clear Channel Radio Manager and a Beat Jamz Employee are both on tape, hosting The Cipher Show during this event, and in some scenes, even holding the microphone, performing interviews and talking to the camera, while leading viewers through the Concert. Now Clear Channel is demanding possession of the tapes in question.

WinYourOwnTVshow.com Presents: The Cipher Show has recently indicated an edited segment of this concert was leaked online and viewed over 600 times, before they were aware it was not properly cleared. It is likely the video segment was downloaded.

An official statement posted on http://www.WinYourOwnTVshow.com, currently says, "We also maintain that we were given verbal permission to film, indicating the proper paperwork was signed in advance, and Co-hosting support by the authority in charge of the event, thus providing proof the infringement was not our fault. Unfortunately, for a short period of time a large amount of people were able to access and view a short edited version of this event on our website. If you have downloaded the aforementioned video footage in error, please delete it."

LOS ANGELES, June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- It was a night like no other at the 2005 BET AWARDS as the network's annual salute to superlative performances in music, entertainment and sports lit up the Hollywood skyline and the Kodak Theatre on Tuesday. The BET AWARDS post-show THE AFTERSHOCK, hosted by BET News anchor Jacque Reid and Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier, maximized momentum from the awards telecast, too, grabbing 3.4 million viewers (2.36 rating, 2.1 million households). It's now the most-watched BET AWARDS Post-Show ever, increasing its audience by 9% over 2004.

Rapper/producer impresario Kanye West was the evening's big winner, grabbing awards for Best Male Hip Hop Artist and for Video of the Year for his spiritual composition "Jesus Walks." First-time BET AWARDS nominees Ciara and John Legend each walked away with trophies, as Ciara won for Best Collaboration for her tandem with rapper Missy Elliott on "1, 2 Step," and Legend scored as Best New Artist. Multi-platinum songstress Alicia Keys took home her first BET Award as well, being crowned Best Female R&B Artist. BET also used the star-studded night to honor music legend Gladys Knight with the network's Lifetime Achievement Award, and Academy Award-winning actor Denzel Washington and his wife Pauletta with the BET Humanitarian Award.

Former B2k phenom Omarion won the coveted Viewers' Choice Award, voted on prior to and in real time on the BET.com website throughout the telecast. This was also the first year that viewers could vote via major wireless carriers. A total of 805,479 votes were cast in the hotly-contested category.

BET's big night exploded with amazing performances and special salutes as Hollywood power couple Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith served as hosts for the first time. Bringing the audience to its feet from the beginning was a surprise reunion of Lauren Hill and the Fugees with a killer performance of their old school hits including "Ready or Not" and "Killing Me Softly." RMD Entertainment in Discussions with Pickwick Group on Several High Profile Music Projects

BAY CITY, Mich. and TORONTO, June 27, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Sciax Corp. MTV Gets In The Game With MIDWAY

The Fugees Reunite as Surprise Opening Act at 2005 BET Awards Show

Multiple Platinum Hip-Hop Supergroup Returns to Form With Spontaneous Performance at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre

NEW YORK, June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The Fugees -- Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, and Prakazrel Michel ("Pras") -- took audience members, and television viewers, by surprise when the legendary hip-hop supergroup appeared on-stage at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre as the unannounced opening act for the 2005 BET Awards ceremony on Tuesday, June 28.

To the delight of the audience at the Kodak Theatre and fans watching the ceremony on BET at home, the rejuvenated Fugees performed a jaw-dropping set that included the signature hits "Ready or Not," "Fu-Gee-La," and "Killing Me Softly With His Song."

Lauryn, Wyclef and Pras have been busy working together in New York City creating a new studio album, the long-awaited successor to the Fugees' groundbreaking last opus, The Score, the biggest-selling hip-hop album of all time.

Released in 1996, The Score became that year's best-selling album, taking home two Grammy Awards: Best Rap Album and Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal (for "Killing Me Softly With His Song"). Certified 6x platinum by the RIAA, The Score has sold more than 13,600,000 copies worldwide.

Following the massive international success of The Score, the Fugees went on hiatus with the group's individual members -- Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, and Pras -- each pursuing solo careers.

Prakazrel Michel ("Pras") -- who co-founded the rap group Tranzlator Crew (later rechristened the Fugees when Pras' cousin Wyclef joined) with his high- school classmate Lauryn Hill in 1987 -- had a #1 R&B hit with his 1998 single, "Ghetto Supastar (That Is What You Are)," from the soundtrack of Warren Beatty's "Bulworth." Turning his attention to film, Pras played a villain in the 1999 Ben Stiller superhero send-up, "Mystery Men," and starred as a struggling drug-running rap musician in "Turn It Up," a film based on Pras' own "Ghetto Supastar" sagas.

The Fugees gave the first intimidation of a full-fledged reunion when the group made a surprise appearance at a Brooklyn block party thrown by comedian Dave Chappelle in September 2004.
