WHEN GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE

The Bishop of Hip Hop returns to radio .

FREEPORT, NY (January 30, 2006) - The radio show that
is as much about discussing the issues of the day as
it is about playing the best Hip Hop music on the
radio is bringing yet another renowned intellectual
into its family of commentators. This coming Saturday
(02/04/06) the OFF THE TOP radio show will be
welcoming Author/Activist//Orator Adisa Banjoko to its
panel of segment hosts.

Living up to the task of making his meaning clear (the
Yoruba meaning behind the name Adisa) Banjoko is
well known for speaking at engagements everywhere from
Harvard University to San Francisco Juvenile Hall
Center. As well his writing has graced the pages of
most major Hip Hop magazines and has made its way to
two books on Hip Hop and Politics. His books Lyrical
Swords: Hip Hop and Politics in the Mix and (the
forthcoming) Lyrical Swords Vol. 2: Westside Rebellion
are must reads for Hip Hop intellectuals everywhere.
Curry Kid, the shows main host had this to say, This
is a powerful brother, im humbled to be able to help
amplify his voice. Banjoko will be joining the
shows already impressive list of great minds.
Commentary can also be heard each week from including
Journalist/Producer/Entrepreneur IzReal (of Insomniac
Magazine) and Activist/Author Mumia Abu-Jamal.

Since 1998 OFF THE TOP has been celebrating Hip Hop
Kulture on the radio. From breaking some of the best
Hip Hop music anywhere, to hosting several freestyle
events and creating forums for discussions about
issues including the continued use of the N word in
Hip Hop, the image of women in Hip Hop and the war on
