Dublin Riots fail to stop Rap Ireland

On Saturday of last week Dublin City was drawn into the worst rioting
ever seen in Ireland, with hundreds taking to the streets in sectarian rage
at a planned march down Dublins main street by the Love Ulster parade
from Northern Ireland. Whilst cars burned and shops were looted, Rap
Ireland was on the ground promoting the biggest afterparty Dublin has ever known.

As the violence spread into the night and police warned to stay away from the
city centre, the Radio City Nightclub was set alight not by the petrol bombs,
but the fearsome Rap Ireland party taking place after Kanye Wests magnificent
live concert. With artists flying in from across the UK and Europe to a city in turmoil,
this afterparty withstood the violent surroundings and proved to be a rose rising
from concrete, with a near sold out venue rocking to the sounds of the best Ireland
and Europe has to offer.

This bright Monday morning, with the mayhem now just a fading memory, Rap
Ireland has taken another gigantic step, with the fresh new-look magazines hitting
shelves throughout Ireland simultaneously. With record breaking pre-orders, a
brand new design and an array of exclusive interviews it looks likely this magazine
will fly off the shelves at an even faster pace than last years offerings. With industry
heavyweights such as FM104 weighing in behind the powerful Hip-Hop brand, it
looks like a formidable year of delights is in store for the Irish Hip-Hop fan. With
nationwide distribution and an almost militant army of grassroot support there is
very little that can stop Rap Ireland this year.
