Leading On-Demand Mobile Television Network Introduces Revamped Hip Hop Mobile Channel
Sherman Oaks, Calif. Feb. 14, 2006 GoTV Networks, the innovative on-demand mobile television network, announced today the launch of Hip Hop Official (formerly Pure Phat), a revamped mobile channel devoted exclusively to the hip hop lifestyle.
Hip Hop Official, the only dedicated mobile hip hop channel available on both Sprint Nextel and Boost Mobile, is the ultimate authority for everything hip hop. This urban resource is a new version of Pure Phat, the top-selling hip hop-oriented mobile application, which has produced strong sales since its debut in March 2005 and experienced a 51% increase in its subscriber base in December 2005. The music/lifestyle channel provides access to exclusive artist interviews, reviews and coverage of mainstream and underground hip hop events, and offers highlights of popular award shows such as The GRAMMYs and the Vibe Awards.
