Shadyville's Own DJ Whoo Kid and DJ E-Rock Collaborate to Present: Bay Bidness -The Mixtape,Vol.1

(March 15, 2006-New York, NY)- The newest member of the Shadyville family, DJ E-Rock, and the world renowned deejay and Shadyville founder, DJ Whoo Kid, are proud to present their most recent collaboration on the Bay Bidness-The Mixtape Vol. 1.

If the South has crunk music, the Bay Area has a similar energetic sound yet their style is unique and all their own. The Bay Area "Hyphy" movement is one that has always been popular on the West Coast regional scene. However, Bay Bidness-The Mixtape, Vol. 1 brings the "hyphy" movement to the national forefront with new exclusives from underground favorites and upcoming acts such as: Keak Da Sneak, Mistah F.A.B., The Team, The Federation, Ya Boy, Turf Talk, B. Legit, San Quinn, Balance, E.A. Ski, and "The Ambassador of the Bay" E-40, among many others.

"The Bay Bidness is a chance to allow the world know the immense amount of talent that the "Yay Area" has to offer. Many do not know that the "hyphy" sound has been around for years. Therefore, Bay Bidness serves as a chance for "hyphy" to get the exposure and recognition it so deserves," says DJ E-Rock, "Collaborating with Whoo Kid is an honor as he is in full support of a movement set to make a major impact on the way others view Bay Area talent.This is only the beginning, because we are fast at work on Volume 2."

DJ E-Rock is one of the most respected and well-known deejays in the Bay Area. Having began his career at the age of 12, E-Rock was the youngest deejay to have his own segment and show on the Bay Area airwaves at the age of 15 in 1996. His popularity hasled to him to sell over 20,000 mixtapes regionally. He has opened for some of hip-hop's most respected acts such as: E-40, Talib Kweli, Jadakiss, and The Clipse. DJ E-Rock has also appeared in a number of online and print media outlets including: Vibe.com, myspace.com, Ruckus Magazine, and The Fader.Recently, E-Rock had the distinct honor and pleasure of being one of the selected alongside DJ Classic to be deejays of the month for Cornerstone Mixtape No. 77 on "We Represent The Yay Area".

DJ E-Rock can be heard every Tuesday night at 9 pm (PST)/12 am (EST) playing new exclusives and classics from the North, South, and East from the Bay Area perspective on his radio show, Bomb Bay Radio, on Sirius Satellite Radio's Channel 40 Hip Hop Nation. DJ E-Rock is the only Bay Area deejay to be heard on a number of Sirius Satellite Radio programs that includes: Eminem's Shade 45, Back Spin, Wax 42, and Hot Jamz. He also appears on "Liquor Barrel Radio" broadcast on www.95live.com on Mondays from 8-11 p.m. (PST).
